Nature's Medicine

Natural medicine is a thing! It's been around for centuries, but we'd forgotten about it in the last century. It's still here and very well.

If you're in pain, mentally or physically, I offer you some alternative health products to help. Nature's medicine is safe, it works, and is cost effective.

Mind, Body, and Soul.

Health and Healing won't be complete with just one or two of these aspects. They need to all be addressed, together.

Diet, exercise, sleep, mental health, toxins, and finally medicine all affect our health and wellness. To find some great alternative health products that can help you along with some amazing education please visit my.doterra.com/Essentially-Loved or contact me for help and information.

Diet

Our diet, aka what we eat--not the newest fad, is fuel for our bodies and it's so important to manage what we put in... "Garbage in, garbage out" as my mom always said and it's true. If you eat crap your body will respond with crap, so fill your body with the good stuff, but still have small bouts of fun every now and again.

Exercise

Exercise - yep that word, or "movement" is a bit friendlier ;-) and is a necessary part of our daily life. Working up to 20-45 min a day is great for so many aspects of our body and mind, so go for a walk or bike ride or swim, you and your body won't regret it.

Sleep

Do you get 7-9 hours of quality sleep every night? This is what sleep experts recommend. Have a routine every night to help your body know when it's time to sleep and make sure your space is dark with little to no sound for restful rejuvenation. Need a little extra help? Alternative health products like essential oils and herbs for teas are also good additions to your routine, or for those tough nights when you have trouble falling or staying asleep.

Mental Health

Your mental health is paramount to your success as a person. Therapy is amazing and there are many types, so find the one that works for you. Quilting, woodworking, painting, riding, walking, reading, talking to someone, etc. these are all self care. Self Care is time for yourself, doing what you love or that relaxes you and is not selfish. You cannot help fill others' buckets if yours is empty.

Toxins

Toxicity is something that needs to be at an absolute minimum in your body and environment. Daily toxins in our cleansing routine and in our environment affect not only our body, but our mood as well. Did you know that most household cleaners and body care products are filled with toxins that affect your hormones? Hormones control so much of how our body functions.

Spirituality

Spirituality - whatever this may mean for you, God, Mother Earth, Buddha, etc find a way to connect and spend some time there.

Medicine

There are many reasons to use medicine whether eastern or western. Western medicine absolutely has its place for stroke, broken bones, things you need to go to the emergency room for right away. GO! Please go! But much of our minor medical issues (i.e. cuts, colds, headaches, etc.) can be helped using nature's medicine from home, so consider saving yourself the time and money of a doctor visit by looking to alternative health products for ways to help.

Honey is a great way to help with seasonal allergies--1 tablespoon of local, raw honey a day can help your body boost its immune system, lavender and/or chamomile tea is great before bed to help with sleep, and peppermint is a great option for digestive issues.

Your Health, Naturally

To learn of more and other ways to be a healer for your family please visit my.doterra.com/Essentially-Loved or reach out to me. I'd love to help you improve your health through natural means.

***A big key with any medicine is discuss it with your doctor.***

I am not a medical practitioner and so should not be the final word on your health. I encourage you to work with your healthcare practitioner(s) to find what works best for you. This may mean searching out a doctor who is open to nature's medicine, but hopefully you already have one. If not, I recommend someone who does integrative medicine, taking both natural health and western medicine into account.
