Calling all sewing enthusiasts! Join me for a (bowl) Cozies & Coasters Workshop where I'll show you how to make these quick and simple gifts.
As a coaster or mug rug protects your tables and counters from the heat of your coffee and tea mugs as well as condensation, a bowl cozy does that same for your surfaces as well as your hands. These wonderful creations allow you to enjoy the warmth safely!
This is a great time to use up your scraps or have coordinating sets using a fat quarter 🤩. Please be sure to see below for your tool and fabric requirements 👇🏻👇🏻.
All you need to know before class is how to sew a seam and how to run your machine, I'll teach you the rest! 😃
Join our enjoyable class, suitable for all ages, whether you're young or old, a novice or an expert in sewing and quilting. If you've sewn similar patterns in the past, consider bringing your friends along for a fun get together! 😃
This class is perfect for both kids and adults. For the safety of our younger participants, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult does not need to register if their sole purpose is to assist the child.
Note: There is a supply list with fabric and basic sewing notions you will need to have before class. The patterns are included with the workshop.

Fabric Notions, & Machine Requirements:
Fabric
2 - 10" squares cotton fabric*
2 - 10" square batting, 100% cotton, NO polyester*
2 - 5" squares cotton fabric (or equivalent quilt block)*
1 pkg of "Wrap N Zap" or 100% cotton, NO polyester batting (minimum of 10"x25" needed to complete 1 cozy and 2 coasters.
* Fabric can also be 2 fat quarters, which will make 2 cozies & 4 coasters

Thread - 100% cotton, NO polyester
Walking Foot
Topstitch 90 Needles
Ruler
Temporary Marking Pen (contrasting to fabric)
Point Turner, chopstick, or other corner turning tool.
Small Scissors
Sewing Machine
Power Cord
Foot Control

A minimum of three students is required for this class.
Workshop Refund Policy:
The class fee is refundable up to 3 days before class.
The class fee is 75% refundable from 2 days up to the day before class.
The class fee will no longer be refundable the day before class.
